I do quiet. It's the first thing you'll notice. But I'm not entirely mute, and do respond to a little gentle probing and you might also find I'm intelligent, aimiable, widely curious, broadly optimistic and prone to get into a good political argument after 2.7 pints.
I play the piano in traditional jazz bands. Sorry. Between doing gigs and the day job, free time is a precious commodity, but when I'm not trying to improve my cheerfully mediocre piano technique, I like good TV comedy of the Graham Linehan ilk, also the Daily Show.
I also like sunsets, long country walks and all that other shit you're supposed to like on these sites. Seriously, I do! But the country walks do need to involve a country pub with well-kept ales. Actually the walking component isn't that pivotal. Or the country bit, really.
Travel's the other thing you're supposed to list, isn't it? I take one holiday a year, this year was China, last year Albania, before that Iceland, Greenland, Syria, Croatia, Sicily... is that enough to make me sound interesting? I went to Frome a fortnight ago.
I've actually got quite good at housework over the years, for a straight bloke.

You should be ideally unarmed. An easy-going personality is a must (especially if you are unable to fulfil the first criteria).
A lively inquisitive mind is essential. I'm not totally closed to religious/spiritual types, but there's going to be some right old discussions.
Where do I see you fitting in? A beer in the sun, a night at the theatre, a jazz gig, a classical concert, a film at the Watershed, a holiday in some historical destination (with beaches), a night in with some Arbor ales (or red if you prefer) and a comedy box set. Basically nothing actually very strenuous, but seriously I don't mind walking.
