If you enjoy science, art, and nature, I think you will enjoy my company.
I'm good-natured, open-minded, and accepting. Relating on a personal, mature, or emotional level is something I do not run from, and I expect a similar approach from others. I'm inquisitive, analytical, sincere, and easily find humor in most situations.
Scientists and artists, it seems to me, in discovering answers to their questions, clarify reality. This gradual unfolding of our understanding of the universe is fascinating to me. Philosophically, my perspective is formed in attempting to step back from dominant media portrayals of our civilization and, instead, objectively view it.
Lately I have enjoyed watching less television, increasing my book knowledge, and performing internet research. Other activities include walking, hiking, film, eating out, taking in an exhibit, searching out interesting groups, occasionally indulging in a quality tv series, and watching "The Colbert Report." I would gladly add biking, tennis, and/or snow skiing to the list, if a friend is interested.
I care for the well-being of the natural world. Therefore, an appreciation of our natural environment is very helpful for my match.
I am currently enjoying my role as a producer for an independent film. But overall, my creative side is neglected, but yearning, so teaching myself to capture stills and video, with my new camera, promises to be a fun challenge. I also like to unearth and enjoy new music, and I aspire to make small films on the side.
As a newcomer to Los Angeles, I'm enthusiastic to explore the city, west coast, and beyond. My employment background includes positions in aerospace consulting, news media analysis, and computers (Mac). Planning to adopt a dog soon.

The qualities I value most in others are honesty, intelligence, emotional maturity, curiosity, openness, and a general goodwill. My match will be witty, and not too button-up, or tied to traditions. Politically, he will stand left-of-center. An acceptance of who he is, and who others are, now, is appealing, but he will also have an eye on personal growth. Also, an appreciation of our natural environment is a must for me.
