About him
I try to have an open sense of wonder about the world. In many cases I don't mince words and can be very blunt and to the point. But with that I also provide honesty from the heart.
While I we are all plagued by our past I try to learn from it and not repeat it over and over again. Some say I can be salty and pessimistic and to that I say I'm a realist.
Still I have hope, that when things look bleak or tend to lead to a bad end. That regardless of how things trend that the universe proves me wrong. That isn't to say I don't prepare for that bleak end. I usually have two or ten plans based on the outcome.
The last seven plug years I have been a freelancer, a business owner and gone out on my own. I left the corporate life and I'm fighting hard to not have to return (though I will if that's my path for a while).
I try my best to support others, to encourage them and support them as I hope they do in return. But I'm no fool either, karma or actions speak louder than words (as they say). And I'll be supportive until such time as you wrong me or others by your deeds.
Set it right or we end our association.
I enjoy all kinds of music, though most top 40 is truly uninspiring. I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, horror, westerns, and a few dramas now and then. I read graphic novels and play video games every so often in between working or working on house chores.
I'm trying to get back into weight lifting, hiking, and long distance running (need to loose my pandemic weight)..

Passionate, driven, you have a career or creative inspiration. Something more than just a hobby that you pursue. Certainly it could be a topic or a profession I know nothing about. While having similar interests and hobbies are awesome. Also having other areas of focus that are different means we can teach each other of our passions and loves. To learn and grow together, to have projects and journeys we learn and build together.
To share resources and time to plan to go on journeys. It could be something simple like collecting photos and momentos at regional tourist locations. Or something like hiking key trails and photo spots around the nation, or sampling regional waffles and bacon houses down the coast. (sigh) and yeah I'll go to rendfair or a comiccon event as long as we can spend it together.
I'd love to pool money for weekend or week long vacations each year (bi-annual if we're lucky). Yet also try to have little dates every week...
