I'm a kind, active man. Curious, intelligent- yet quirkily impulsive and forthright. A teacher of geeky things to a beautiful bunch of young adults.
Playing with my dog, Watching weather fronts passing down the valley or moonlight rising over the estuary, a glass of red, a good doco, comedy or an immersive read (eg Australian short stories, Bill Bryson...), chinwag, or current hobby are my weekday evening pleasures. Chores to music (it varies...Mozart, Meatloaf, Manx...) are- upon completion, deeply satisfying.
Design challenges, human history and the natural world absorb and inspire me. I enjoy being fit- through enterprise - easily supplied by the cycle commute, garden, repurposing old stuff, decorating and excited poodle that await me at home. Bushwalking, friends and picnics are traditional weekend favourites. Touring, travel and overnight hikes are regular holiday season plans.
