I am deep yet witty, sharp yet kind, quirky yet sensible.
These days, I enjoy a good argument, but I am more aware of the difference between passionate anger and outrage (say, at injustice) and bitterness (which is usually a form of self-pity). I am plenty angry at the way the world is, but I try to hang onto my last shreds of optimism that solutions to some problems will be found in time.
I am a writer, so my correspondence is particularly rich and fun. You can learn a lot about me (and who knows what else) from even one or two of my letters!

Someone who thinks before he speaks, yet who doesn't let that slow him down too much. Someone who loves knowledge and beauty and needs connection - not just fun and status.
I tend to get along best with quieter men: they like my energy when it sparkles, when I make up complicated word play; I like it when they share their fascination with the world in their understated way. Quiet men also tend to love animals as amazing creatures and not just things to go with their favorite BBQ sauce.
