I started playing with a Mac in an undergrad project. Two years later, it's a book and here I am with a career out of it. I've been with this one employer for 25 years. It might even into turn into a steady job.

I can explain why capital letters are called upper case, why one side of a power receptacle is wider, what the third prong is for, how the body absorbs vitamin B12, and how to use a semicolon.
I'm into social causes like the ACLU, CU, MADD, PPFA, and WWF.
But I'm not always serious. One time a coworker stuck a "kick me" sign on my back. I came in that night with a sewing needle and red thread and set upon his white uniform. If you get to know me, I suggest for your own safety to be sure I don't get anywhere near double-sided tape.

I'm looking for someone who is a bit in her in own world, who probably isn't interested in having kids, but who still cares about the real world enough to be upset about how it's run. Someone who is contemplative and brainy, who can talk up a storm on a gamut of topics. Someone is homey but will occasionally spring for a trek to a museum or two. Someone who prefers small groups and quiet get-togethers, but who wouldn't mind a rock concert now and again. Someone who enjoys playing mind-challenging board games but who'd also jump up on the sofa to watch a movie in which there is no English dialogue. Someone who is willing to do wacky things (trick or treating on Halloween as Bush and Cheney comes to mind).
