I love travel, but think Blighty has a lot to offer; am very happy diving in tropical waters, exploring pretty villages & elegant cities in France & Italy or rock-pooling in wellies in Cornwall.
I'm a voracious reader with eclectic tastes; currently reading a biography of the Borgias / Winston Churchill's collected thoughts / and a laugh out loud chic lit - very confusing when I get the characters muddled up :-)
I love to dress up in heels & LBD; but also have hiking boots, a wetsuit & old gardening togs.
Walking on the beach in winter all wrapped up in my favourite coat & scarf, splashing in puddles in the rain looking for rainbows; roaring with laughter at a good film; snuggling up in front of a log fire with a large glass of red, candles & La Bohème....Nina Simone..... or Ellie Goulding playing in the background; boogying to a good beat; taking silly photos; beating my daughter at backgammon; cooking à deux; mooching round Roman towns followed by a tasty pub lunch; finding hidden treasures in second hand book shops; changing washers in the bathroom taps without flooding the floor; eating raspberries straight from the garden; snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes...
