About her
I discovered science later in life; firstly by reading Dawkins' "The god delusion" and then by watching Carl Sagan's "Cosmos". Since then I have read everything I can find in the genre of popular science. My profession is librarian which makes the task easier! As I work part time I can indulge in one of my passions: caring for sick and injured native wildlife. In this role I continue to learn about biology and microbiology and also genetics as we are assisting in preventing some of our Australian animals from becoming extinct. It is very rewarding work! Other interests include bush walking, astronomy, theatre and concerts.
