About him
I've lived in Sheffield for about ten years, it's a picturesque little city, with the hills providing lots of spectacular views (I'm originally from Cleethorpes, which did have the seaside going for it, but it is really flat, no views like here!). Jeez, so far this makes me sound like Mr Vista, right let's move on to something else...
Ok, so I guess I'm what people describe as the tech guy; I can 'do' computers/electronics... currently I'm programming video games. I used to have my own little business doing that, but it wasn't very sociable, what with just employing remote freelance artists, so now I work at a larger studio in the city centre. It's pretty cool, fun work, though I don't play video games anymore - making them is a lot more interesting than playing them!
Other hobby-type interests - let's see, I've just renovated a pinball machine, that was quite fun to fix, and then to play... I muck about playing the piano, though I'm no accomplished pianist... used to play guitar, not so much these days. I enjoy a bit of good TV for downtime - gotta be DVD box-sets as I can't handle adverts! Currently been checking out varied shows like the new period dramas, sci-fi, animated comedy, crime-type stuff, documentaries on technology, science, psychology, economics, nature - just good stuff really, no X-Factor action here I'm afraid :p
Walks in the peaks, rounds on the pitch'n'putt at Grave's Park (I'm *really* not very good but want to improve this year), there's lots of good things to be done in and around Sheffield/UK :)
Would like to meet someone who lives in/near Sheffield, go for a couple of drinks or a meal one night, and just see how it goes really... though I am looking for a relationship, one-nighters are not my thing :)
