About her
Now that I am retired, I find that I don't like to be rushed to do anything. I have been living alone for many years and need not be living with anyone although I do occasionally miss the intimacy that I know can come with a relationship.
I would like to meet someone who is not obese, someone who would enjoy to exchange by email initially, someone who enjoys the simple things in life like I do myself like reading, watching documentaries, CNN, movies, catching a play once in a while, meeting some people for a meal or a drink and taking the occasional trip. I also enjoy the visual arts including visiting art galleries and I do some art myself some times. I enjoy good food but I don't cook, so it would be nice to meet someone who loves to cook. I presently have a small older dog but do not intend to replace it as it has prevented me from travelling in the past. I wish to leave you with a general feeling of a woman who is well grounded, independent and who loves to share life's natural beauties.

My ideal companion would have to accept my natural slow rhythm to perform any activities, the other most important factor is the compatibility with the areas described in my likes such as reading, watching docs, movies, going out to the theater, to art galleries, to dinner, to meet friends for a drink or dinner, for a walk, staying at home alone for quiet time. Some alpine skiing, swimming, walking, hiking, and the occasional travel.
