Well we find ourselves in extraordinary times. Corona virus has certainly impacted our lives and limited social interactions. We are in a new, restricted world which could continue for months, maybe years.
But we can still go for walks, have a meal in a pub and sit in the garden. It is still possible to laugh and chat and enjoy life.
Despite Brexit (which I believe is a mistake), despite Covid19 (which continues its rampage) and despite climate change, pollution and habitat loss, I remain hopeful that humans will pull through and right the wrongs.
Most people on here want to 'live life to the full.' A bit difficult to do that right now. Maybe we will need to reconsider how we can do that, responsibly. Finding delight, surprise and pleasure in small things.
I have lived a pretty full life,.in London, in Spain and France. Now I am settled back in my home country in the north of England. I have had a few relationships over the years and I am not looking for marriage or a live-in lover. I value my freedom but I also miss companionship.
I like all animals and share my home with a few cats so if you absolutely detest felines, we are unlikely to be well matched.
I enjoy good food, wine and conversation. I appreciate music - classical, jazz, opera, rock.
I am not materialistic. Not into status symbols. But I take care of my appearance, and although I dress casually day to day, I quite like to dress up for an occasion. I only wear glasses for reading, but had to use them to take these selfies.
I don't take myself too seriously, enjoy a good laugh and would love to find a kindred spirit.
