I'm currently separated with two children (14 & 16). A sense of humour is very important to me. I find the human condition amusing and I do not take myself too seriously.
While I find this process a little awkward, I'm looking forward to meeting new people and forming new friendships. In time I hope to find that special person. Summarising my life, aspirations and interests using a serious of tick boxes is a challenge. I find myself saying "it depends!", this is not indecision, rather I feel that my future with a new partner is not defined by only my past. I'm more than happy for someone to try and convince me that some weird & whacky hobby is a good way to spend my time. My preconceptions have been proven wrong in the past and I'm sure they will be proven wrong again.
Honesty and integrity are essential to me. I am a caring person who is not afraid to show affection. Communication and conversation are very important to me. I enjoy banter, teasing and windups. I'm a practical person and I'm happy fixing things and undertaking DIY.
