About her
I am a native of Cote d'Ivoire. I currently reside in the USA and have enjoyed my stay so far. I am affable, open-minded and down-to earth. I am as much as comfortable in an evening gown as I am in a pair of jeans. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, traveling [would be thrilled to visit the Machu Picchu; an Inca ruin in the Peruvian Andes someday!]. Furthermore, everything sparks an interest in me; but if I were to narrow it down to a specific list, one would definitely find science as the number one item {which probably explains why I am a Biologist}, exploring other cultures and places; farmers' markets; reading [latest book I read that I absolutely found worth reading: "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" by Rebecca Skloot. She does an outstanding job at explaining the Origin of the HeLa Cells and beyond! ]. Moreover, I enjoyed reading magazines; my favorite ones are "National Geographic Explorer", and "The Smithsonian." In addition, I enjoy good DVDs; a notable one for me is "The Journey of Man" by Dr. Spencer Wells, a human population Geneticist. He has another one that I would like to see next: "The Human Family Tree"
I believe in a balanced lifestyle; so I make sure I set time aside for fun activities. I exercise at least once to twice a week. I enjoy a good movie every now and then, good company whether friends or family, a nice laughter, volunteering, browsing through encyclopedia, visiting museums; weekend getaways whether that means a trip to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware or a hotel stay in the Midi de la France... I'm ready to share and continue living a memorable, fulfilling, and gratifying life...and I patiently await the right one...
