About her
I'm an adventurous girl. I am a creative soul, and like to bring beauty into everywhere I work. At uni, I double-majored in botany, and human biology/ergonomics. IRL, I work as a business development consultant/coach and writer, both of which require pushing my comfort zone to the max in order to get good results. I have a tendency to get quite passionate about my projects - I only pick the ones worth my passion and enthusiasm - which has resulted in me living in Africa for work. That said, I enjoy taking off my competitive hat and relaxing with the people I care about.
Like Rudyard Kipling's elephant, I'm insatiably curious. I believe the glass is always full; there are always air molecules filling it to the brim. I have a seemingly bottomless well of creativity...however, writing about myself is far more difficult than writing about other people (real or imaginary).
I'm a wicked cook, and love to cook with company. Although I don't party often, when I do, I'm usually the wing-girl whose mate goes home with a band member. The sport that lights my fire is...well, most things with loud engines (and commentators like Crofty). I will also watch rugby, T20 cricket, and ice hockey if someone is on hand to explain the gossip.
Likes:
Writing. Science (particularly botany, human biology, and physics/astrobiology). Being outdoors. Walking on deserted beaches. Chocolate and ice-cream. Formula 1 and motorsport. Sustainable development (no irony that those two are next to each other. None at all). Painting and pottery. Going to gigs in bars that host independent artists. Rock and metal. Hip hop and music made when musicians were musicians and could sing in key without electronic interference.
Dislikes:
Intolerant people, bigots, and haters. Inconsiderate drivers. The toilet paper roll being replaced the wrong way up. People who think that 50 Shades of Grey is a good example of progressive feminist erotica and/or have any kind of fondness for Edward Cullen. Beliebers and Directioners.
About her ideal match
I'm looking for a long-term, monogamous adventure buddy, someone to come along on adventures with me - going hiking; taking long bicycle rides; going to conferences like TED; doing a pilot's license, and air rallies; going to grands prix, WRC rallies, and other motor races.
