I'm straightforward and laugh easily.

I was a nurse, and have had a wonderful and diverse 47 year career, mainly in intensive care.

Someone fanciable,tactile and kind with integrity and wit who has lived and loved (a bit like me). Love a bit of baggage - it makes us more interesting. I believe sharing similar core values is key. Interests/hobbies can be shared or not, as we get to know each other. I would prefer to meet or have a phone conversation rather than too much emailing etc to see what we think and if there is 'flow' - it saves time and effort if there isn't!
I am unlikely to find much common with those who sit too far on the political right.
Few minor gripes: witterings littered with 'LOL', and ;), and I'm very happy when the apostrophe is in the right place. If I have sent you a message I would appreciate a reply. A 'no thanks’ is preferable to silence. Last gripe- fake profiles 😖...why?! No photo, no contact.
