I like evenings out, to go to concerts, theatre and to travel, something is missing, is that you?
I have two dogs and much of my time is currently spent either walking them in the local countryside or gardening. I'm a regular at the village pub but spend more evenings at home either listening to music and reading or watching a film.
Over the past few years I have only spent holidays in the UK (the Highlands are a favourite) because my dogs would come back from kennels nervous wrecks (they have separation anxiety since my wife died) but I have now found a suitable family to look after them while I'm away so I want to get going again! I'm not a lying on the beach person, I like exploring nature and old buildings. I'd like to go back to so many places in Europe I've already visited but also Ankor Wat and Machu Picchu, India, Canada (the list is endless), don't want to go on my own though.

I'm looking for someone who is good company, liking dogs will be necessary (how can someone not like dogs?) and an easy going outlook would be good. I guess they would need a reasonable level of fitness and an active lifestyle. An interest in the environment, no political dogma, willing to tell me when I'm wrong and accept I'll try better next time.
