Big heart but little patience. Intelligent, witty, sarcastic, self deprecating but sassy. Caring and thoughtful. Get the greatest pleasure out of giving and nurturing, be it humans, animals or plants. Will try most things once!
Love most sports apart from cricket and football! Although I am happy to feign enthusiasm for the right person! Have always been fit and healthy, participating in most sports and played hockey internationally about 100 years ago! Prefer to spectate now but still enjoy running, golfing, skiing, paddle boarding (before everybody and their granny took it up!) and anything to do with or by the water.
Voracious reader, can go off the grid whilst immersed in a good book. My kids once asked me, as I stood cooking dinner whilst reading, if I had to choose between the dog or the kindle which would I choose? I smiled ruefully at the mutt and told her I’d miss her.
Have lived all over the world and don’t think anywhere in the UK is that far, such a small place. My work is and always has been remote so happy to relocate!
Love anything to do with houses and gardens, renovations, architecture, decorating. Looking at plans or drawings and watching an old, neglected property come back to life makes me come over all unnecessary. Created my own little sanctuary of a garden during Covid and is where I go to escape children, animals, life! Love a project , always got one on the go. You could be my next one?!

Please be tall so I can wear my heels. Love sports especially rugby and all the socialising that entails but not be a football fanatic. I don’t want to sit in the pub every Saturday afternoon next to you in your Chelsea (or insert relevant team) strip!
Be able to spell and not use endless emojis (I have an irrational dislike of the little fellas!) and acronyms, nobody ever got ‘lol’d into a date.
I have very limited knowledge of the arts other than appreciating a beautiful piece of prose but am an open recipient to expanding on that with the right tutor.
Am at my happiest whilst travelling be that snow or sun, cities, beaches, spontaneous trips, new places on my doorstep or far flung places I’ve never heard of. Preferably staying in accommodation without wheels! I do love that feeling of coming ‘home’ too but am realising that home can be anywhere once I’ve found ‘my person’.
