About her
I'm a life loving, educated, adventurous, politically aware and affectionate woman, with an unusual 'story' of people and place involvements seeking someone who shares some of these qualities. My own experiences range widely -- from across the U.S. to extensive time in Africa, and from the South Pacific to Europe to British Columbia. Much of this has related to my professional research and teaching (college/university)--a formal profession I plan to end shortly, with more time for favorite passions. What are these? Certainly, exploring natural places near and far--from coastal areas to mountains and deserts, enjoying the arts and music (jazz, classical, blues, ethnic...), understanding the important environmental and socioeconomic concerns of our time, enjoying physical times--whether walking, biking, boating, coming to know different cultures, and spending time with friends and family. Through it all, I have learned that all the great parts of life are happiest when shared with someone wonderful. Perhaps like you, I know that the road forward offers new life chapters to be written and free times to do it. If you recognize some of these good parts of life as well as values (mine are liberal/progressive, by the way), if you live and think young, if you are happy with your life accomplishments in your own terms but also look forward to sharing who you are and the joy of exploring new times with someone special, I'd like to know more about you.
