About him
I have an optimistic and young outlook on life - still feel like I'm just getting started! No plans to retire or "slow down" (yuk!) - I've still got lots to do and to discover. I am an optimist driven to make a positive difference in the World through the research I am doing and the bio-science company I have founded and continue to build.
This doesn't mean that I'm a workaholic! I am never happier than when outdoors walking immersed in nature or with friends socialising in the pub; the two together are ideal! I do a bit of landscape photography when I'm out sometimes too (some examples in the photos!).
I also like to get to the gym most days and push myself in the constant fight against unfitness - if I don't get to the gym then I'll fit in a walk instead.
I spent a lot of my early career working in Africa, Middle East and Europe. As a result I love France, Spain and Italy and love to travel round those countries when I get the chance.
I also like to help people achieve their goals and to support my friends and family where ever I can.
I love cooking for my friends and loved ones and most of them love my cooking!
I am quite a passionate person and, while I have an extrovert side, I can also be very reflective, laid back and let others bask in the limelight. I am also happy in my own skin and my own company from time to time.
I would love to find someone who likes to get out and do fun things and is also happy to share the rare bits of quiet down-time as and when the occur!

Looking for an intelligent, educated, attractive and emotive lady with warmth, sparkle and happy in her own skin while also being honest, caring and kind.
Someone who loves the outdoors, socialising, good food and good company, but is also at home cuddling on the sofa watching a movie.
Someone with a keen sense of humour and laughter, but unafraid and interested to discuss deeper subjects too.
Hopefully she will either enjoy going to the gym, pursuing a sport or generally keeping fit.
If she has her own kids, whether at home or not, is fine with me as I would hope mine would be for her (although all mine have left home now!).

Why should you get to know Simon? Simon is determined, resourceful, kind, loving, and loves life. He is a very well-informed and intelligent person who enjoys "in-depth" discussion.
