About him
I'd like to think I'm a fun person to be around! I've a strong network of friends of whom I'm extremely fond. Unfortunately due to the intensity of my studies (see below) I don't get out as much as I'd like to, even to gigs, so here I am in the cradling hands of Our Mother Internet.
In terms of what I do I'm a physics student, hoping to go into solar power because as we all know, the continuing prosperity of rock n' roll depends heavily on bands touring non-submerged venues. When I'm not in the lab or slowly losing my grip in a lecture theatre, I like to:-
Play my bass or sing as the mood takes me, or listen to music.
Make stuff of varying quality out of pallets I take from skips.
Ride my motorcycle, whether in Bristol or around the lovely hills of my native Devon (currently on proper bike number two, the first one unfortunately is in Valhalla now.)
Stop suddenly in the street and interact with cats that don't belong to me.
Read. Anything will do but Plato's Republic and Tolkien's legendarium are particular favourites.
As far as politics and values go, I suppose that deserves a full conversation but I can very vaguely be described as a progressive. My own emphasis is more on personal conduct than the behaviour of society-at-large, though.

The qualities I most admire in people are warmth, an honest nature, intelligence and fair health. An important underlying attribute though is to have passion for things. These don't necessarily have to be the same as my own- if you're dead into sewing, or you love ballroom dancing or anything really- as long as you really dig something and you're not just another brick in the wall, then you have my vote.
Oh, but loving rock n' roll definitely has the effect of making me find a woman more attractive. I'm quite fond of a strong, playful spirit also.
