I like people and I like a lot of the lovely things that life offers. I can listen as well as talk and can sometimes make people laugh. Retired for some time from my busy job in London and abroad, I am loving exercising the other side of my brain with dabbling in art, writing, singing, flower arranging, as well as keeping up with international politics, reading, the theatre and live music, and supporting my family and friends. I like walking and swimming too, and just being in the fresh air, including my garden which grows profusely if in a rather untidy way - echoing my house. I would like to meet someone to share some of this with, and a man who could perhaps help me slow down gracefully sometimes! I have lots of friends with a scientific background but am liberal arts myself. I read new scientist from the to time but like to hear about science and have sometimes worked with scientists.
