About him
I am a wildlife biologist and run my own education and interpretation business in the tropical paradise of Cairns where I am surrounded by magnificent tropical rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef and have no dependents except a golden Labrador who is my current best friend.
Three years after losing my beautiful partner to a terrible illness, I am now ready to put some joy back into my life. I am fit and healthy with an appreciation of the environment and social issues. I work outdoors in wildlife and travel a fair bit for work. I am a left wing political supporter and can't stand stupid conservatism.
Likes: my work, relaxing at home, listening to music, picnics at beautiful swimming holes, walks in the rainforest, good wine and conversation with intelligent and genuine people, photography, travel and adventures, keeping healthy and physically fit.
Dislikes: people that take life too seriously, who have inflated egos, who don't bother listening to you, are very opinionated, red-necked and aggressive. Also dislike dishonesty and anti-social behaviour.
Attracted to women who are: intelligent, confident, passionate, sassy, kind, open and honest. Also down to earth women who can laugh easily and can make me laugh.
