About her
I am independent and strong but also sensitive and caring. I am feminine, a good listener, a bit adventurous, kind, gentle, and spontaneous. I don't take myself too seriously. I am not looking for someone to take care of me, complete me or fulfill me but rather a partner I can share life's dreams with....Someone to laugh with...converse with...enjoy music together with. I am creative & a bit bohemian in my approach to life but above all respectful and honest. I love animals & try to volunteer doing animal rescue when I can. I enjoy jazz (especially Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Marion McPartland, Ella Fitzgerald...) but my taste in music is very diverse and spans from progressive rock (Moody Blues, ELP) to Gregorian chants and all the way to Willa Dorsey, Laverne Butler, David Grey and The Pogues. I enjoy ballet, theater and the arts. My favorite artists are Degas, Botticelli, Renoir, Monet & Van Gogh. I enjoy travel & have visited Scotland, England, Ireland & Germany. In the US I have traveled extensively but hope to explore more of Europe someday. I have a passion for vintage clothing, fabrics of faille, mohair, lace & chiffon... and my fashion style preferences are rooted in the glamour of the 1940's & 50's to the eclectic flower children of the Haight-Ashbury in the 1960's. I enjoy reading and cooking simple meals for friends. My outlook on life is always take accountability for your actions...always "saddle your own horse"...look after & care for the weak and helpless and those who cannot speak for themselves...do not tolerate unfairness or hatred, always be polite & respectful, be thankful for what you have...give back where you can to those less fortunate....practice empathy & try never to lose sight of your dreams & curiousity... My personality is funny, somewhat irreverent at times, dry sense of humor...giving and supportive...but somewhat of a worry wart. Above all...I want to remain curious about life & live it to the fullest...because "where do dreams go when you stop believing?"
