Smile and you get a bigger smile back was my Mum's favourite phrase. Life can get in the way but it's a good place to start, everyday !
It would be fun to share that with someone who intuitively "gets it ".! As to "it" ?
Intuitive understanding built up by great communication is I think the key to finding that illusive chemistry that everyone seems to be chasing.(How pompous does that sound ?) Ridiculous

OK kind of helps if you feel like ripping each others clothes off as well. There is a time and place for discussing the merits of Scottish independence (none) the longterm economic effects of Covid 19 ( Horrific)
I believe it's important to look forward not back, learning from the past, without apology. (If you think you got it wrong you are probably right but you will meet people who did a whole lot worse, I know I did and have !)
If you haven't made mistakes and learnt from the experience, then you must be a rather unimaginative person, emotionally withdrawn or in denial!
So my "baggage " has been packed away, but not before the lessons had been learnt, and that's where it will stay. So travelling much lighter and enjoying the experience of discovering something new every day.
And what about meeting your soulmate for life stuff .....in the next 90 secs ? Well that's one in a million and the theme of some pretty amazing movies .....I don't live in Clayton on Sea or Grimsby but neither do I live on the sunset strip ..I like to think I live in the real world with romantic optimism !

I don't think one can predict the chemistry that can happen between two people until they actually meet. One of the challenges in today's online world and of course sending postcards is tricky as well. But I bought a box of 50 from the Saatchi Gallery to send to special people - old and new : I was a late viewer of " Bucket list " !
Looking at life with a smile, imagination and optimism is a good place to start...
My ideal match would enjoy a mix between the country and city life. And a few holes of golf in a light hearted way can be fun too! As I have two spaniels, a dog lover would be an asset as they have become an important part of my life.(They rather like the odd game of golf as well)
I enjoy spending time in Wales and Scotland as well as exploring the variety of what London has to offer. And weekends discovering the diversity that Europe presents ....go Easyjet just book it !
Otherwise I have an open mind, keen to share the adventures and laughter that life has to offer with someone who is not afraid to speak their mind and tell me when I have completely lost the plot! (Occasionally, not too often I hope)
Why does every women on this site feel the need to say they love dressing up in their LBD and also wearing wellies .....going out for dinner and cosy nights in with Netflix .. wonder if someone out there owns "stelleto wellies?"
Be honest, when did you last spend an evening wearing a LBD , wellies, drinking a bottle of red whilst watching a Movie ...but actually that sounds like it could be fun and no I don't have a thing about rubber .
In summary, a passionate lover in every sense who has an open mind as to what tomorrow will bring, conventional yet curious, confident yet compassionate and believes communication is key to a happy and loving relationship.
PS I have noted that a lot of Ladies on here say " No ONS" Do you hoenestly think that is what Men are looking for ??
