About her
I hope I bring something unique and wonderful to a relationship - life is short and I try to be mindful of this fact even in the most banal situations. Despite being outrageously skeptical at times I also have a very deep well-spring of gratitude for my extraordinary first-world life!
Humour is incredibly important to me as it is a) Fun, but also b) Shows a sense of perspective. I take myself seriously in all the important ways but also love laughing at myself and the surreal and unexpected ways in which life unfolds.
I work in the Arts and love what I do - though I am equally enthralled by the Sciences and other disciplines - in fact I'm relying on science to buy me another 100 years or so so I can achieve everything I'd like to.
I'm into exercise - jogging, a bit of swimming and yoga. I'm loyal, fun and honest and hope to find someone of a similar bent (as it were!)

My ideal match would be someone with a similar sense of perspective I think - and someone with very real self-knowledge who has lived a bit and learned to value honesty and straightforwardness.
She would also have a sense of humour - not necessarily in a stand-up comedienne kind of way but perhaps in a wry, gentle and sometimes self-deprecating way.
I'd love some who shares my core values but is her own person, someone who enjoys both alone time and together time and is comfortable with striking a balance.
A passionate person who is sometimes reserved and sometimes outgoing.
Someone with a bit of style who appreciates great design - oh and good food too, whether it's at a 3 hat or by a campfire - a love of the simple and the magnificent.
