About her
Having retired after 30 years of being a GP I am thoroughly enjoying the freedom to travel, meet friends, garden, bake and wake up when my body clock wants to. I go to the gym once a week, swim and do some yoga. I belong to a community choir and spend one or two days a week volunteering at a plant nursery which has a therapeutic programme for people with various needs, but I get involved with the horticultural element.
I spent six weeks in Australia and New Zealand soon after retiring, three of them driving from Auckland to Queen’s Town on my own, visiting as much of NZ as possible, swimming with dolphins, walking through forests etc. I love travel and it would be great to have a companion to explore further, especially warmer climes with snorkelling opportunities, but I also enjoy exploring Europe, especially Italy.
At home the cat would need accommodating, but that’s where my children come in. They live close by and are often in and out.
I feel that life is wild and precious and is for living to the full whilst also making time to just chill and enjoy the moment.

I am looking for someone who is interesting and interested.
It would be great to have a companion for dinner out (more posh pub than Michelin starred), go to the theatre/cinema/concerts, walks on dry days and travelling.
If you are interested in gardening and/or cooking - excellent.
I am not a great dog fan, sorry to say.
I think life is for living and it would be enhanced if I found someone to join me on the next stage.

I love spending time in Trina's company. She is honest and open, fun to be around with a wicked sense of humour, and has a serious side too. She is extremely caring and thoughtful. She's also astute, perceptive and very capable, so don't think for a moment that you could mess her around! I have known Trina for over 25 years and She is a most loyal friend. She is a wonderfully caring and supportive person with a multitude of skills and interests.
Trina is an intelligent lady with a great sense of adventure and zest for life. She is an absolute joy to be around and will never let you down.
