A brief vignette of me
I enjoy many of the usual intellectual / sporting interests that seem to be ubiquitous on this site but particularly the theatre.
All transformed by great company and friendship.
I also enjoy the theatre of a good rugby game or a day in the mountains and ‘little hills’ as in London I guess
But nothing beats an evening with good company and good spirits to lift the gloom of the day no need for extras or embellishments, just the two and time passes effortlessly
I work in a business that seems to spend great dollops of money whilst earning meagre amounts and yet we go on but it pays the way
No longer shackled to daily grind but still enjoy the twists and turn of my day
On the whole, content with my lot, there will always be apparently better or worse off, it's how you deal with the cards in your hand
I feel comfortable talking or engaging with anybody without needing to change presentational ' gear '
I try to mix a common touch with common sense
keep fit naturally through my work and enjoy active participation in various outdoor activities and use to ski lots but not so much now and not an issue if you do not ski as any exercise is good although if you like snowy mountains there is always compromise in resorts these days
I could write more but probably few would read and it becomes a little self indulgent
Fine words are useless of course without integrity and trust
and they certainly do not butter the ‘ parsnips’ , you need butter !
So I will stop!
